You cannot send a link to a specific photo to a friend, for example. Plain ol' HTML, CSS and images are best for showing one's photography -- or so I believe... :)

(First time, btw, I enjoyed a lot of your photos in /zenphoto :)

I agree...I've never been fond of Flash for viewing photographs as I feel that it's not really a stills photography medium. It appears somehow to be less in one's control when compared to html based sites. Also the bookmarks point is crucial. I mark alot of pictures using bookmarks and can't do that individually with flash. Also I think that as a viewer you are aware of the embedded quality of a photograph within flash...and I don't like that.
